The Project
A suite of approx. 20 components that live “under the bonnet” seeing high temperatures in the PEEK range have been supplied in the hundreds by MNL’s low volume production section for more than 6 years now.
Each component’s design is such that injection moulding would be extremely complex and price-prohibitive for the relatively low quantities required. MNL’s solution utilising silicone tooling and high-temp PU resins has proved highly successful, even allowing for design changes along the way without the need for costly mods or restarts on injection mould tools.
